The base entities do their best to provide services for our expectant families, however, many families are falling through the gaps and there is a need for continuity of care. Military life requires frequent moves. Change is constant. Care providers come and go, breastfeeding support falls through the cracks and postpartum concerns can go unnoticed. Crucial aspects of our care system that should be provided for by the military but are often absent because the system is ever changing...
That's why the Military Birth Resource Network exists.
MBRN has a mission to enable continuity of care by providing the necessary community, network, resources and awareness to our military families stateside and those stationed overseas.
