Amanda is a certified doula CD (DONA) and HypnoBirthing Educator HBCE. She has over 9 years experience as a birth doula and childbirth educator. Her passion to help service members and their families during pregnancy and beyond inspired her to found the Japan Birth Resource Network. In order to coordinate and provide training and support for local area doulas, Amanda opened the Okinawa Birth Education Center. As a military spouse of 19 years, she has spent over 13 years living overseas with her husband of 19 years and their 3 children, two of which were born in Okinawa. Amanda was voted 2016 AFI Spouse of the Year for Marine Corps Base SD Butler, Okinawa, Japan for her important contributions and unwavering commitment to the military community and our country. She has spent the past 8 years educating and supporting military families stateside and abroad, working to build a continuity of care for expecting families and building relationships while fostering growth in local communities.

Linda is an obstetrical and neonatal nurse, and a community outreach educator. She has over 38 years of experience in prenatal education, including program and curriculum development. She is a founder and co-director of the Academy of Certified Birth Educators and Labor and Support Professionals. Linda is a certified childbirth educator, certified lactation educator, and holds the distinction of advanced certified birth doula, and she is a birth doula trainer with DONA International. She has maintained a private doula practice for over 35 years. Linda is currently the Vice President of Doulas of Greater Kansas and a past member of the Board of Directors of DONA and past president of the Coalition of Maternity Services, CIMS. She is a former member of the Fetal and Infant Mortality Review Board for the state of Missouri. She is an international known speaker.

Sally is a founder and co-director of the Academy of Certified Birth Educators and Labor Support Professionals. She has 35 years of experience as a certified childbirth educator, a certified lactation educator, and a practicing doula. She holds the distinction of advanced certified birth doula and she is also a birth doula trainer with DONA International. Sally is the current president of Doula Services of Greater Kansas City and a member of the Boar of Directors of Postpartum International. She is also a member of the Maternal Child Health Coalition of Kansas City. Sally presents numerous seminars annually throughout the United States.
Janelle enlisted in the United States Marine Corps as a Small Computer Systems Specialist, serving in Twentynine Palms and Camp Pendleton, CA from 1999-2001. She went on to work for the Navy Marine Corps Intranet, one of the world's largest IT contracts, second only to the internet. Starting as a Help Desk Tier I Agent, Janelle worked her way up to Enterprise Queue Manager, in San Diego and transferred to Camp Pendleton as their Base Operations Queue Manager and Legacy Help Desk Manager.
Having left the corporate world to raise her family, she continued to work behind the scenes as the web designer for the Ammunition Detachment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, receiving a Letter of Commendation for her hard work and dedication. From there she volunteered as a Key Volunteer Coordinator for Ammunition Co, 1st Supply Battalion, Marine Logistics Group, and Family Readiness Officer Assistant for Marine Detachment, Fort Lee. Janelle is currently the Founder and Creative Director of Pacific Designs, serving as the Advertising Art Director for Okinawa's 411 Cafe, allowing her to continue to stay home with her two children and husband of 13 years.
Monica is an Air Force spouse of five years, and is a mother to an intelligent and daring baby girl. Monica gave birth to Rowan on Okinawa, Japan, and has since developed a fondness and interest in all things MBRN. A string of odd jobs led her to editing, as well as a profound love of the written word. Substitute teaching overseas for DODEA, editing books for charity, and writing for Stars and Stripes Okinawa all came together to inspire her to volunteer for MBRN. Monica and her husband Clint are currently stationed at Eglin AFB in NW Florida, where she continues her education online through the University of Massachusetts. Her hobbies include exploring her family’s new PCS stations and making pinterest fails.
